Haven’t posted in ages, life and work really keep you busy.
Anyway I’m just posting a very short blog on Frogs. My knowledge of the flora and fauna of Papua New Guinea is unfortunately very limited although my enthusiasm for them isn’t and thanks to my friends at Walinidi Plantation Resort (www.walindifebrina.com) I am slowly learning.
On my walks through the palms I take photos of interesting insects, snakes, and any other wildlife that is around. Recently I discovered that living on the plantation we have three of the four known West New Britain tree frogs (Litoria sp). The fourth is likely not found at our altitude but I will keep looking!
Litoria infrafrenata
Litoria lodesdema
Litoria thesaurensis
